Why did I get involved with Modern Wealthy and Launch You?

As Children We Have Big Dreams!

I have always been a dreamer.

As a child the ‘reality’ of life had’t yet taken hold. I was too young to worry about making an income and paying bills. After all Mum and Dad took care of me. I was sheltered, clothed and fed, and could spend my free time (When not at school). Mind you I did day dream in school, something that frequently got me in trouble in secondary school, playing and dreaming about my future life. I was going to travel the world studying animals and visiting natural treasures. Maybe in a helicopter or a private jet. Helicopters and jets to the childhood me were just vehicles to get me to where I wanted to go. I has no concern about the type of vehicle or how I would afford it. As a child my vision had no boundaries. When I grow up I can do anything I want to do. Go wherever I want, live wherever I want to. Does this sound like you too?

We go to school and the indoctrination starts.

But as we get older our parents (They love us and that’s what they were told) and the education system tells us we have to study hard and get a good job. If we do this then maybe we will have a comfortable life. So much value is placed on getting good grades by studying hard in primary and secondary school, then qualifying for university where we select a course suited to us and hopefully graduate and embark on a career that we find rewarding and fulfilling. Little or no talk about starting a business or becoming an entrepreneur. Why would people in a job talk about these things?

Society places value on position rather than character.

Professions that pay the highest incomes require personal sacrifice during our years at school, so we can buy a nice home and drive nice cars, and put our children in private schools if that what we want. There is nothing wrong with this. Study hard, work hard and get paid accordingly. Status in society often comes hand in hand with various professions. Society tends to respect the surgeon more than the cleaner. Our position in society more often decides how we are treated, rather than the measure of our character.
